Estate Stari Mlin (Old Mill)
Story: From 1810 to 2003, the "Old Mill", was the only one far away in which wheat was processed for all the surrounding villages. Some parts of the mill have been preserved and still adorn the estate with their presence.
The estate was inherited by the current owner. In 2004, he carried out a thorough reconstruction and renovation of both the residential building and the workshop located on the estate. He has created a pleasant haven for individuals with a vision who want a comfortable life in the embrace of nature, the possibility of a self-sufficient lifestyle, close to all the necessary infrastructure.
Location: Gornja Prekopa, a village in the municipality of Kostanjevica na Krki. Beautiful location near Gorjanci, right in the middle between Ljubljana and Zagreb, two hours’ drive to the Slovenian or Croatian coast. The property is in a quiet, private location in nature, in the immediate vicinity of Štanjel, Šmarješke toplice, Čatež and the Pleterje monastery.
